Mrs. Sheckler's Update

Dear RCP Families and Friends,

Thank you to the many volunteers and our PTO for organizing and running this year’s Carnival!  We had a fantastic turnout and the weather was perfect! It was nice to see our families and students enjoying themselves and raising funds for our PTO.

We are fast approaching our Florida State Assessments.  Third, fourth and fifth grade students will be taking the FSA’s in Language Arts, Math and Science (5th grade only).  Your students are being prepared for these assessments and teachers are working hard to ensure students have mastered the standards that will be tested on these assessments.  It is extremely important that your child arrives to school on time and is in attendance every day. Just missing five minutes of instruction each day adds up to missing three and a half days of instruction in one school year!

Continue to check our school website at RCP.leeschools.net for upcoming events and announcements!

Regards,

Mrs. Sheckler

Parents must sign the tutoring agreement and will need to provide their own transportation. Please note, before school tutoring begins promptly at 7:30 am and after school tutoring ends promptly at 4:30 pm. Please watch for additional details for specific days and times.

The Counselor’s Corner with Mrs. Sherman

I had the best time playing Bingo with students in grades K-5 who had Perfect Attendance during Quarter 2.  I can’t wait to celebrate Quarter 3 Perfect Attendance after Spring Break! We are also looking forward to our next PBS Party on March 12th. Students with zero referrals during Quarter 3 in grades K-2 will attend a magic show here at school and grades 3-5 will be headed to SPINZ Roller Rink. Permission slips for SPINZ are due back by March 11th.
